"Smoke Once Again at All Your Favorite Spots Where Smoking has been Banned"
Since the late 90’s, a new way of life – a healthier way of life – has been sweeping the nation and continues today. Millions of Americans are doing what they can to become healthier by eating healthier, exercising more, cutting down on pollution and “going green,” and by passing laws which eliminate the hazards of secondhand smoke.
If you happen to live in one of the states which has already outlawed smoking in many public places such as restaurants, airports, train stations, bars, etc., then you know exactly what I am talking about. It has been proven by countless studies that secondhand smoke from cigarettes affects those in the immediate vicinity of the smoker. Secondhand smoke contains thousands of substances, many of which are carcinogenic and harmful to the body. Due to this fact, it is being outlawed in public places around the country.
"I'm so tired of having to leave the restaurant table to go outside in the freezing cold of winter to have a smoke"
One day, these laws will most likely be passed in all states and almost every public location will be off limits to smoking. This law will become a nuisance to smokers in different ways. For example, it is very common for smokers to want and/or need to have a smoke when they are finished with their meal. Where they once were able to just light up at the table and continue their conversation, they will now have to excuse themselves from the table and go outside the restaurant to have a smoke. This can be very bothersome as they have to quit doing whatever they were doing and go outside. It is even more annoying if it happens to be raining outside, scorching hot, or freezing cold. Once finished, they can finally go back inside and try to catch back up with the conversation that they left to go smoke. All this can become pretty annoying for a smoker and for those affected by the smokers absence. The good news is, there is a way to now avoid having to do that. There is a way to continue your conversation and have your smoke without having to get up and go outside!
"I enjoy smoking but hate going into those smoke filled designated smoking rooms at the airport just to enjoy a smoke"
The way this is possible is with the Electronic Cigarette. The reason these laws were passed in the first place is because of the dangers of secondhand smoke to non-smokers. However, the E-cig does not contain any of the toxic substances that conventional tobacco cigarettes do. As a matter of fact, the smoke of the Electronic Cigarette is not smoke at all but a vapor.
Due to these facts, the Electronic Cigarette does not fall under the laws which ban conventional tobacco cigarettes from public places. Now, once you are done eating, you can just pull out your E-cig and begin smoking right at your table while not harming anyone around you and also without the stench of normal tobacco cigarettes. And this does not just apply to restaurants, this applies to almost all public places. It is a win-win situation for everyone.
**Note - While it is not banned by law, the owners of some establishments may still elect not to allow customers to use the electronic cigarette in their buildings. However, with a simple explanation of the product and how it works, they will often times agree to let you use it.
